Rugged hooked by Alice Eshelman, my Aunt Effie's MIL, probably 1930s.
Photo before I restored it. Went to Montreal and got instruction from a professional. Gave it back to Aunt Effie and Uncle Jim, who were amazed. Now it hangs on their wall. (For many years it got lots of wear in their farmhouse in Lancaster Co PA)

It goes for miles. Restaurant after restaurant.

It is funny how the living space is integrated into the commercial space. We saw a woman standing on her terrace (like the one above 3 Amigos) shaking out a rug. The debris rained down on the (oblivious) diners below.
